With a degree in Environmental Conservation and a qualification in Countryside Management, Daniel’s hands-on approach as Director has been key to the company’s success. His years of on-site skills, experience, and vast knowledge make him an invaluable resource—there’s really not much Dan can’t advise on!

With over 15 years of industry experience, Daniel has built a skilled and trusted workforce that includes groundworks specialists, spray technicians, arborists, and utility arborist teams. Together, they’ve earned recognition with Constructive Gold status, CHAS Advanced, and PCA membership, proving the team’s commitment to quality and safety.

Daniel has been with Nimrod since 2012 and is our resident expert on Japanese Knotweed. He’s the one you’ll see on-site conducting surveys, offering on-the-spot identification, and providing the best treatment options to tackle this invasive weed.

In addition to his expertise in Knotweed, Dan also looks after all aspects of health and safety across our projects. He’s frequently commended for his thorough Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS), ensuring that every job is carried out safely and efficiently.

Dean joined the Nimrod team in October 2015 and has since become an integral part of our groundworks team. As one of our Site Supervisors, Dean leads by example with his hardworking attitude and hands-on approach. Fully qualified in his role, you’ll often spot him confidently commanding the roads in the Valtra Tractor!

Specialising in local plant hire, we cover all your specialist kit needs, with fully trained and insured operatives ready to get the job done safely and efficiently. Dean’s expertise and leadership ensure everything runs smoothly on-site!

Louis has been with Nimrod since December 2014 and is now a vital part of our groundworks team. A true team player with a fantastic work ethic, Louis approaches every role with enthusiasm and dedication. He’s completed his NVQ Level 2 in Trees and Timber, holds a digger license, and is also a key member of our Japanese Knotweed Spray team. His skills and positive attitude make him an invaluable asset to the team!

Nichola is the office manager – having joined Nimrod in September 2020. She handles all office-related enquiries, payroll, and administrative tasks, as well as managing our social media and website. Beyond her role in keeping everything running smoothly, also ensuring the lads are always fuelled with an endless supply of tea and coffee!

Pete has been with Nimrod for many years and is a fully qualified climber. He now supervises one of our Utility Arborist teams, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and a sharp focus on health and safety. Pete’s expertise in trees, plants, and all things nature-related is second to none, making him an essential member of the team. And let’s not forget, he also has fantastic hair!

Big J is fully trained in site security and personal protection. One of the most intelligent dogs we have met, he is our full-time guard dog based outside in our yard. Remember….please ring the gate intercom or the office phone before you enter! #friendlywarning

David is a fantastic addition to the team. Fully qualified in all aspects of arboriculture, he’s an experienced climber and an invaluable member of our Japanese Knotweed spray team. Avant trained and Health & Safety conscious, David is a well-rounded team player who can turn his hand to any task. His skills and expertise help us deliver top-notch service across all areas of tree care and invasive species management. David also plays an essential role within the office, stepping in whenever the surveyor needs support. His versatility makes him a key asset to the team.
